SHORTCUT FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH.

I want to answer a question most people ask related to spiritual evolution:

The use of drugs as far as spiritual enlightenment is concerned is a huge discussion in modern spiritual societies particularly the new age groups.so let us have a look at it.

This is my view and understanding and in nor way should it be taken as truth written on stone;further knowledge or comments will be appreciated.

This topic came to my mind from one spiritual enthusiast enquering  an insight on use of some drugs such as bhang in opening or awakening somebody's spiritual third eye.

My input ,

There is a reason why you are who you are.God or universe knows how to do things with zero effort without any human manipulation of interference.

Fortunately or unfortunately,we are born with a freewill that is meant to make us be able to make right choices in our lives.

Most humans come from a school of thought where the freewill is the only thing that exist.Such humans believe that their will power is the only thing that has created their reality in life.While this may be partially true,the universe rans the biggest free will which our own will power operates in.This is similar to your simcard believing that it is everything and not appreciating that it's functions are possible while inside your handset.

The universe is the handset that allow the simcard which is your will to operate.

This is the major basis upon which all religions and spirituality originate from.The higher self(God/universe) is the parent while the local self(you) is the child.

Now,increasing into the use of drugs to activate some energy centers, I won't say this is right or wrong because it not a matter of morals but an issue of understanding the inner ingeneering of the astral body that regulates your physical body.

Naturally, we are karmically born to deal with certain insufficiencies from our past lives that impede our spitual liberation.From your birth chart, Karma is born as your soul incarnates from a physical past existence.

The human mind once on this plane is more inclined to seek all sort of pleasures and  to avoid all pain,hence my understanding tells me that majority of materialist seeking to open their third eye are doing so to fulfil their mental body with the pleasure it so seek.

If the question of using bhang came from a mystic or a true spiritual seeker I would know that truly,this soul is struggling to become more spiritual to let go the world rather than possess it.

The ancient spiritual teachers and their disciples were very relactant to teach the general materialist the shortcut to attain spiritual enlightenment,this is because,an attempt to do so would deny such beings the opportunity to burn all their pending karmas they have accrued in the material world through their past incarnations.

If for example you read the autobiography of yogi in the chapter of outwitting the stars; shree yuteshwar giri encourages yogananda to wear an astrogical bungle to protect him of a bitter karma of a disease that would happen to him in near future.

We note clearly that despite yogananda being on a spiritual path,he was very relactant in doing so.Infact, he tells his guru that it was unnecessary since he does not believe in the stellar science.

His believe was that since he was on a spiritual path,the seed of the past in his chart would not germinate in divine fires of present life.

Indeed ,he once ordered for his horoscope to be scorched.This is magical and contrary to what the modern man would do if given a shortcut to avoiding any pain.

Today's man is able to sucrifice even his or her child to gain the world or the treasurers of the world.

Yuteshwar clearly explained to yogananda that he needed the astrogical bangle.Inside , he knew that the strive of his disciple was to increase his devotion to God.Being on God's path and carrying on with prayers and meditation yogananda deserved support to deal with the shortcomings of the physical world.

Him taking astrogical remedial measures would reduce his focus from material ups and downs and direct him more to his pursuit of the kingdom of God.Hence Shri yuteshwar states that for a devotee of God , getting a shortcut from material world would help a disciple to evolve more spiritually.

From this  excerpt I would conclude that if your remedial measure is geared towards material attainment for just that purpose,one need not do anything.But if your goal is attaining spiritual enlightenment,then a shortcut is okey for you.

I guess that this article is speaking to spiritual people and not mere rigid religion followers.Spirituality is the depth of inner mechanics of how thing happen beyond the physical dimension while religion is more based on principled way of looking at things.

The whole esssence of opening the gates of spirituality is to learn  how to open the 7 energy centers,starting with the root chakra to the crown chakra.

All spiritual masters that ever came on Earth had their way of doing it.It is upon us to learn which way leads to the destination fastest.

The altered form of spirituality in modern time can mislead one ;as it may work for one person while failing for another.

The use of bhangi and psychodelic to open the third eye is very rampant in the modern world .Majority of people don't want to do the hard job to open the third eye,they want a shortcut.

While these drugs can be shortcuts, they can truly cause a shortcircuit in the astral body which is electrical in nature leading even to real schizophrenia or pyschosis.

What we need to understand is that there is a order to do things .All the six chakras has has to be opened one by one through their respective formulaes.

Each energy center ranning on your astral body corresponding to your vertebral column has to be awakened if it was not activated in your past incarnations.

For spiritual masters and highly evolved souls their energy center are up and running at birth,so for them they are volunteerly doing things to teach others how to do it.Their manifestation power is high for they are not born to do their own karmas but take the Karmas of other people.

Though they are born with charts and physical bodies ,their will power supersede the will of their karmas,they are one with Gods will, though they accept all attributions on their charts.

The danger of opening the higher energy center or chakras while bypassing the rest sleeping chakras is total disillusionment.The root chakra is the grounding,swadhistna is your creative power,manipula chakra is your manifestation power,the heart chakra is your soul energy connection,throat chakra is your expression,third eye is your visions while the crown chakra is your connection to God or wholeness.

Individuals born out of their karmic debt cannot surpas or take a shortcut of any of the work that needs to be done at any point.

Looking at the Jesus version....we look at the book of John chapter 10:He talks in parable about the good Shepherd.He explain of  the difference between the own of the sheep and a thief.He says that anybody that does not pass through the gate to the shed is a thieve but anybody that that passes through the gate is the own.He clearly states in this chapter that who ever does not Go to the kingdom through his gate is a thieve.

He says again that all those who came before him were thieves.This is a parable that even those whom he  spoke to did not understand what he was referring to.

The human conscious in astrotheology is pushed all the way from the root Chakra to the highest chakra through the vital force referred to as the chrism,which in the Bible is called Christ.The chrism has to build up in the lower Charkras to open them inorder to go up to meet God the Father.Hence the theme of drinking the Christ when in body so that one can be born of christ.

The chrism or Christ consciousness is moved via several media,eg the prana which is contained in the oxygen we breath,via our sexual energies etc.

When we start using these main tools in our lives, our spiritual awareness start rising.

When we meditate and move the vital force from the genitals to the head a new energy is born that opens us to new dimension of possibilities.

When we learn to conserve our sexual energy and raise it up,the same thing happens,the chrism is raised.

This is why Jesus said that just the way Moses raised up his snake we should be ready to raise up the Son of Man inorder to enter the kingdom.

All this is a deep secret that only truth seekers can find the rest will just be scribbling on the surface of the truth.

Hence to all those genuinely willing to raise their spirituality ,the universe will help you do it.For all those taking shortcuts to material shortcut,reflect and find a new way of doing it.
